Meet the Team
At ChAPS, we champion a world where every autistic individual feels empowered, included, and celebrated. Our team brings lived experience, specialist knowledge, and unwavering compassion to support individuals and families at every stage. We’re not just here to help, we’re here to create lasting change, together.

Emma joined ChAPS with a wealth of experience from the education sector, particularly in supporting disadvantaged groups. With extensive expertise in managing contracts, stakeholder relationships, and bidding processes, Emma is well-equipped to drive our services forward and expand our impact.
Beyond her professional background, Emma has a deep personal connection to our mission. As a parent of an autistic son, she understands firsthand the challenges faced by families and the complex paths they navigate. Her lived experience, combined with her professional skills, are invaluable in shaping and enhancing the support we offer.

Chloe graduated from the University of Hull in 2022 with a BA in History and Politics degree and a Masters in History.
In her spare time, Chloe is passionate about the performing arts, working at a dance school one-to-one with SEND children since the age of 14, and more recently directing for youth and adult productions. In her role at ChAPS, Chloe organises and books all activities and coordinates the staff for the charity’s events.
Chloe is also responsible for booking facilities and organising fundraising events. Since she has been in the role, Chloe has enjoyed visiting multiple external activities, including Animal Therapy, Cheshire Forest School and Northwich Kids & Youth Clubs, and can’t wait to visit more.

Emma has recently joined the CHAPs team as a Professional Trainer. She also works with the
Petty Pool Trust, dividing her time between the two organisations to design and deliver training programmes that champion neuro-inclusive enrichment across workplaces, educational settings, and external partners.
With eight years of experience in the SEND sector, Emma has served as both a SEND Tutor and Curriculum Manager, playing a key role in shaping the curriculum at Petty Pool College.
Following a late diagnosis of ADHD, Emma is passionate about promoting inclusion and
supporting neurodiverse individuals—both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys walking her two dogs, tuning into podcasts, and indulging in a variety of drama series on Netflix.

I’ve been a support worker with ChAPS for three years. My role involves signposting parents to helpful resources and services and offering a listening ear when they need support.
I also deliver the Empowering Parents Programme—a six-week course designed to support parents and carers of children with diagnosed or undiagnosed autism and other neurodivergent conditions.
As a parent to an autistic young person myself, I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to the families I work with.

I’m the Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead at ChAPS, having started in this role in July 2025.
As a trained counsellor, I’m proud to support others by offering a safe, compassionate space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I lead our therapy and wellbeing support for children and teenagers, working closely with our Schools and Families Lead to ensure wraparound care is in place for our young members.

I work as the Schools and Families Lead within ChAPS. I work with schools to promote
Neurodiversity and work with families to offer support.
I am also Autistic which drives my passion for supporting others and helping society become more inclusive.
I enjoy going on holiday and exploring new places, paddleboarding, musicals and watching films.
I look forward to possibly seeing you around ChAPS

I work part-time for ChAPS and lead our Learning for Life course, a 12-week adult post-diagnosis programme delivered in Warrington and Runcorn.
This course is designed for adults who have
recently received an autism diagnosis, helping them develop practical life skills, build friendships, and grow in confidence to achieve their goals and aspirations.
I also lead a dedicated team of volunteers, many of whom have previously completed the course themselves, bringing valuable lived experience to the support we offer.
I also run the Kids and Teens clubs in Chester and Ellesmere port and facilitate the horse therapy sessions.

I’ve been part of the ChAPS team for three years this September, working part-time in a varied business support role.
I’m often the first point of contact—answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries. I register new members, process Attention Cards, manage Café
orders and banking, and handle general office duties.
I also support both families and adults, including being the first contact for those accessing our adult support services. My role involves signposting, networking, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

I have worked at ChAPS for 11 years providing business and finance support to the team. I’m the first point of contact on our info email account, where I help direct your queries to the right team member. I oversee membership subscriptions to help keep everything running smoothly.

I’ve been part of ChAPS for around 10 years, both as a volunteer and an employee. I currently work as an Activities Worker, supporting a wide range of sessions including Kids Club, Youth Club, adult meetups, swimming sessions, parent meetups, MyTime sessions, and of course—Crafty Club!
Outside of ChAPS, I’m mum to William (19), partner to Richard, and dog mum to our little pup, Poppy. When I get the chance, I love needle felting and painting. As a family, we’re big fans of films, Comic-Cons, and all things Lego
